Ozzy McG is a versatile songwriter, producer, and pianoman, his songs spanning multiple music genres, laced with his unique blend of blues, boogie-woogie and pop/rock piano; his playing influences inspired by artists such as Bruce Hornsby, Ray Charles, Billy Joel and Johnnie Johnson.

Ozzy has played in excess of 4500 gigs over an ongoing 35 year musical career. From solo gigs to duo's, trio's, originals bands, function bands; right up to 10 piece soul bands, Ozzy has been a respected and in-demand keys player on the UK music circuit.
He has held numerous high end musical residencies, graced the stage at hundreds and hundreds of venues, supported many well known acts and recorded in some of the best studios in the UK.

Ozzy McG is not a touring artist, but a studio songwriting artist - with years of experience taken from performing in numerous different bands and recording in studios. Ozzy has the rare talent as a genre spanning artist, whose songwriting, engineering & production reach far and wide, from unique covers to indie rock tracks and acid jazz to hip-hop/rock hybrids.
Ozzy says "There are many genres of music I love, so I don't let myself be too constrained as a songwriter/producer to fit into one particular niche. When people ask “what sort of an artist are you?” I reply “I'm an artist who tries to write good songs, that's it........."
